Mr. John Martone has been a teacher in the Upper School of Sacred Heart Greenwich since 2001. He currently teaches courses on Theological Foundations to the freshmen and the capstone Seminar in Literature and Thought to the seniors. Mr. Martone has also taught several courses in the departments of World Languages and Mathematics. In the department of World Languages, he has taught courses in Latin I, Latin II, Latin III, Latin IV and Advanced Placement Latin (Vergil), in addition to a course in Arabic I. In the department of Mathematics, he has taught courses in Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II with Trigonometry and Calculus. In 2016, Mr. Martone taught a course on Latin IV through SophieConnect.
Mr. Martone graduated from Fordham College with a Bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Mathematics. He also received Master’s degrees in Theology from Fordham University, in Ancient Semitic Languages and Literatures from Catholic University and in the Old Testament from Yale University.
