Laura Lutz's passion for books and stories began when she was a little girl, thanks to the Ramona Quimby series by Beverly Cleary, and that love continued into middle school and high school with the likes of Anne of Green Gables and Jane Eyre. It was only natural that Ms. Lutz would pursue an English degree at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, followed by her Master's in Information Resources and Library Science at University of Arizona.

After working in public libraries, publishing, and school libraries (CSH, 91st Street for five years), she is proof-positive that you can turn excitement about books into a career! When she's not reading, Ms. Lutz can be found  at the movie theater, on a beach in the Caribbean, or spending time with her family (including her cat, Minerva McGonagall).
