Mark Arnold has been teaching on SophieConnect since 2015. Originally he only taught AP Psychology, but has since started teaching a semester long General Psychology course as well. Mark earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from King College in 2009 and his Masters of Arts in Religious Studies from Sacred Heart University in 2012. While earning his Bachelor’s degree Mark did independent research on the effects of sociocultural factors on self-perceived religiosity.
Mark has also worked for a residential psychiatric facility which specialized in the treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder using dialectical behavior therapy. Mark's Master's thesis focused on the subject of Albert Einstein's Theory of Relativity and how that theory is support by a Judeo-Christian understanding of the universe. Prior to teaching with SophieConnect, Mark taught AP Psychology, General Psychology, and Religious Studies courses at the Academy of Our Lady of Good Counsel in White Plains, NY. In his personal life Mark enjoys reading, playing the guitar, and spending time with his wife and son.
